Not too long ago my girl said she needed some space but still wanted to keep in contact through text. I have been giving her space for a week now and just had one text conversation over the week. How long is this going to last and what should I do at this point because l'm honestly missing her bad right now?

But on a serious note, you should try and ask her out for a date. (do this if you didn't do anything wrong, but if you did something wrong give her more space.) See how she responds to you.

Just send her a simple “Thinking of you.” Text. Would be sweet. Then let her be. She’ll come around.
Okay so I’m all for giving your partner some space when they need it — that’s healthy and considerate. A few days is reasonable, but a whole week? You don’t really get to just check out like that once you’re in a relationship. I do think you should tap in with her, but also clarify is this is a break or a break up...
