Do you find it superficial that females show their engagement rings or want to see others' engagement rings?

I don't understand why other females show their engagement rings, or want to see other people's engagement rings whenever they find out that someone's engaged.

I find it superficial. I feel that engagement itself is good news, I don't understand what's the point of showing how big the diamond or stone is on the ring.

I think the whole thing is done to sell rings. I had to stop wearing my wedding ring because every time I'd start getting hit on by sluts that are trying fuck somebody's husband. I don't wear the damn ring and I get treated like their vagina is dryer than a dusty desert with random tumbleweeds blowing around in the wind.

Society has changed and the tradition has lost the meaning. But if you want tons of wet pussy hitting on you, by all means, wear a damn wedding ring. Can't speak for the ladies, but I doubt they don't get hit on just because there is a ring on them.

I just find that only females do that, particularly asking to see the rings of others as soon as they hear of the engagement, and yes I said "they" because I'm not one of the females that would be asking to see. I mean yeah it's nice to see, but most of the time the person who's engaged would've posted close-up pictures of the ring on social media, but people who are on such social media page still ask to see in person 🤷🏻‍♀️ I haven't heard a guy say let me see the ring.

In addition, I feel that it's superficial on both ends, the person showing the ring, and the person wanting to see the ring. What if the woman engaged has a ring with a diamond/stone that's smaller than a woman looking? I'm guessing there must be some comparison in their minds. "Her ring is smaller than mine. Mine is this much karat." "I wish my ring was more like hers."

Yes, it's superficial. It only means something once you're actually married, considering that engagements can go on for several years.
