Do guys notice engagement rings on girls?

I have not seen a guy friend for few months and when he saw me today he noticed i was wearing a ring on my ring finger in just few mins after meeting me and he was like congratulations on ur engagement
It was not an engagement ring though lol.. do guys notice engagement rings? I thought most guys are oblivious to the jewellery a girl wears.

honestly depends on the guy. some are more aware than others.

one of my good friends is married & she gets hit on ALL the time at bars even though she is wearing both her engagement & wedding ring. and will intentionally hold her drink with her left hand, rings facing the guy, up high close to her face. and the guys still are oblivious.

I was talking to a guy several years ago, and he went blank when he saw the ring in my hand, he literally forgot what he was saying, I had to move my hand for him to take his eyes off of it and he asked if I was engaged 3 days later. Just super funny. 😄

I almost never do - I have to remind myself to look sometimes. It's certainly not something I do routinely. Having said that, i've occasionally noticed a girl wearing one that didn't wear one before - but that's definitely the exception to the rule.
