Do you think this true about our gender. I've heard of these things a lot:

- When we're done with a relationship, we've already checked out a while back and the break-up process is easier. He can cry and beg all he wants but the decision is final.

- I never cheated but if a woman cheats, generally is much further than just the physical aspect. She likely checked out out of the relationship and the infatuation period is gone.

- If she isn't infatuated with you, only her good morals and a good upbringing will keep her from cheating. That's me. I won't cheat but if I were to make a serious commitment, as long as there is no abuse nor cheating, I'm with you till the end.

- Even if the break-up is amicable, if we say lets be just friends that's a BS excuse. That means she simply isn't in love with you and once again the infatuation period is over. She doesn't love you. There is nothing you can do about it. No woman that wants to commit and loves you would be ok just being friends with you.

I don’t think it’s wise to cast an umbrella over how women as a whole navigate relationships, breakups and dealing with the aftermath. How we as individuals choose to approach romantic relationships with men is non-linear. Like personally I’m not going to cheat on my boyfriend just because I’ve “mentally checked out” of the relationship. That’s selfish and nonsensical. I would just end things and be single. I also am not someone who gives guys enough chances to emotionally wreck me before I finally throw my hands up, be done with the relationship yet still be in it. As far as amicable breakup, infatuation is not the determinant as to whether or not remain in each other’s lives, and it also does not dictate my ability to build a friendship with my ex. If we’ve fallen out of love then why can’t we be friends? It doesn’t mean we never loved each other deeply at one point, but again, every person approaches these sort of things differently.

Good point. Everyone of us are different. Like you, I also fail to understand the logic of cheating just because you're not in love with them anymore. That's cruel and it means they would happily treat a human being like garbage without any guilt at all.

Very true, women in dynamics like that is the most confusing and ridiculous thing to me but I know sometimes they’re factoring in other things. Like they can’t leave because they live with him, have a kid or kids with him, etc. Unnecessary justifications😕

Oh dear. I'm sorry to hear that. Some people can be shitty humans. I've encountered a terrible experience with my ex boyfriend. He wronged him so badly. Even though I'm in a new relationship for 9 months now, I can say 100% that if my ex boyfriend ever came I would never ever forgive him. This is what he did:

In his sick twisted mind, he expected me to become a business owner of a restaurant so he can take away half of everything. He used to pressure into finding out what my father's willing will and how much are my father's properties worth, about my grandma too. I had a sociopathic-narcissist as a 1st experience, 1st boyfriend... the worst person I've ever met in my life.
