Girls, Do you ever act like you don't like a guy when really you do?

I suspect this is happening with me. She acts like she likes me but at same time I feel like she doesn't like me at all. I actually like this girl

I've noticed this girl will start making a comment when the 2 of us are alone, next thing she and I are chatting. It happens everytime. She also sat next to me too when she could have sat in another seat. She just seems to act like she doesn't like me. But then she sits next to me but only talks to me when she and I are alone
