Why do I like shy girls?

i really like shy girls that are really pretty or cute, like there is often times an innocence about them, and I always feel like they're good girls. I'm also not looking for pre-marital sex, and very much look for commitment. my friends who I feel aren't looking for what I'm looking for, say my standards are too high or they aren't even taken back by the girls I find attractive even though I find them so great and cute. I don't understand how you couldn't like such a girl, but they're more sexual so maybe its something subconscious to do with that.

also I wonder, if guys can be so attracted to cute, quiet girls, why does it seem like all the cute girls are never attracted to cute, quiet guys? I find more outspoken obnoxious girls unattractive. but why are girls attracted to that in guys? not to mention these guys tend to be players. why can't girls be more attracted to the shyer, innocent, good guy, like a lot of guys find girls attractive for being that way?

late but true, cause I am too just quite, by birth, and yeah due to some frequent changes of primary schools, due to my dad, who is a business man. Its made me a bit more quite and shy. But in higher school, many guys attracted to me indirectly (they see me, when I don't see them back), and shy guys tries to speak me mostly on projects and subjects. I am quite smart in doing work completely, sometimes helps others in core subjects, but less as my shyness made them freak a bit.

So what I noticed is, as I speak less or one word answer, many times-many times I sensed they used to get a chance to see my face more, rather my answers. And here they scan our facial and eyes throughout, and sometimes guys becomes cute or sexy to me, and this effects my mind so weird.. ha ha.. :D only girls knew my few talents, rather guys...and this made them a bit more curious... I don't show my shyness every time, but only when some one tries to speak other than subject stuff, and see me as whole, when I don,t even try to catch their eyes..lol, do you know some other stuff? Girls sometimes become jealous on me indirectly, and it reflects on their behaviors and eyes.. ;P.. So be yourself, and if you want to date, make some courage to meet them privately, and just ask some other than personal stuff, this will make them more near to you and try to figure you out after comfortable with you...then ask some personal stuff like their interests and hobbies etc, etc, and yeah its a bit hard, unless you don't figure it out, and be sure there are less guys and girls near to her, like library or lunch time, where you can open your interests to her. (my experience as a shy girl) ! but beware all shy girls are not innocent, and they don't jump to you in first contact itself...he he.. ;) just saying.!

im a cute shy girl, I rarely approach a guy because of it. If I think a guy is really cute and cool then I will be nervous and wonder what he is thinking about me, is it good, bad, is he thinking of having sex with me.. I do not get approached by shy guys probably for the same reason I don't approach a guy, but I do get approached by every other kind of guy and they always end up being no good for me. I think shy guys are attractive. I get the feeling that I might have a lot in common with a shy guy, but unfortunately we are both shy and we are only just looking at each other from across the room.

I rather the good guy over the bad boy any day. I'm quite fond of a guy in my government class. He's really cute, but shy and somewhat quiet. Plus, he's nice and has a good sense of humor.

Some girls just think shy means insecure.

again, I think girls are attracted to really obnoxious guys because they think (because of our culture) that they have a lot of self confidence... personally that's bull. eventually tho, I think girls learn that the player type is just a disaster for a relationship, and pick better guys. I know at least one example of this happening. the girl always dated the player type, kinda slutted herself out, but now is in a stable relationship with a shyer, better guy. so yeah.

shy girls seem more submissive which is why they are more attractive to a majority of guys (most guys are dominant), girls are not attracted to quiet guys because quiet guys seem submissive and a submissive guy is no good

i feel like any form of dominance over another person in a relationship is just a recipe for disaster though. both people work at a relationship, one does not run a relationship over another.

doesn't it seem like that is the very characteristic that leads to so many girls being left or cheated on or hurt? I'm not saying I can't be a man, but its not that girls ever give shyer men a chance anyways, so how would they even know?

I'm not fake, but a lot of people assume that I don't drink, party, that I've never done anything with a guy, that I'd never say anything bad, things like that. I'm a nice person for sure, but I'm not a nun.

you don't have to be a nun, lol, but while these things you're mentioning are turnoffs they can be overlooked, especially if you're responsible about them. besides people can make mistakes, but the past is the past, and people can change.

Haha but none of those things was a mistake. I like partying, and I like hookups occasionally lol. I tend to settle down when I'm in a relationship, and I'm faithul as can be. But when I'm single, I like to have fun. People usually over look that though because I'm shy.

i like having fun too, but I'm shy, and I've never kissed a girl or anything. I've been to some smaller parties but they haven't been all that fun for me. I'd like to try clubbing but there aren't any cool clubs around. but I mostly just like going out with friends to eat or to the mall or something, that's fun enough for me most times. I'm just not one to fall weak to peer pressure and wish there were more people like that :S

I would prefer to go clubbing over just getting really wasted at parties or the bar, and I like just chilling with my friends, going to a movie, going for coffee, or shopping, things like that. But there's nothing to do where I live so I end up parting just like everyone else haha

That's right. It's harder to get to know anything about shy guys, but I had a class with this shy guy and he turned out to be charismatic in a quiet way. I only wish it were easier to meet shy guys! Shy definitely isn't a bad thing in my book...
