She is my friend and I don't want to date her. If she likes me how can I let her know that I am not interested?

it sounds like she's might be trying to feel you out. I would say that you're not looking for anyone right now. However, if you do start seeing someone maybe let her know. Because I've had a guy do that to me and then get a girlfriend a few weeks later and it really made me mad. Then he said he said they're were only dating each other so that they could sleep with each other. He still wanted to do stuff with me but of course I didn't let that happen.

I wouldn't read too much into it. From all my experience with women, if a girl finds you attractive or is interested in being with you, 95% of the time she won't be making any moves. Girls get self-conscious, more shy and worried about their actions and how you'll interpret them around someone they like.

Unless she's in that 5% that are just extremely confident, forward, and bold, chances are she's just being friendly.

If you don't like her romantically/sexually, then maybe play dumb? Act as though the texts are simply friendly expressions of being friendly. No need to be direct (and hurt her feelings) unless she's direct (then, she really wants to know).
