Personally I never really understood why that type of text would 'make a girl's day' but that's just me. Probably because it means that the other person was thinking of them and cared enough to do that. It's a personal preference though, I guess. I'm more into the very simple gestures. It's hard to explain what I mean by that, I struggle to try to describe it to my friends but yeah, like I said, just me. I'm sorry, that probably did not help you in any way but I thought I'd just share my opinion. :)

Personally if my the guy I liked, my crush, or my boyfriend would text me this it would make my day and make me feel like I was the first person they were thinking about when they woke up. But if anyone sent me this text it would still make my day but it would be even more special if that special someone sent it .

I think it depends on the person. For me, it would have to be a guy who I'm interested in and who I've been dating for a while. If I didn't know the guy, I'd be a little creeped out, and if it was a guy who I'd only been dating for a little while, I'd be cautious of them because I'd suspect he was a player.
It would make me happy no matter who said it. But there would be different levels of happiness depending on the person and how well I know them. (:
Believe me, if some kid I hardly ever talk to texted me that I would be extremely creeped out and it would ruin my day. However, if it was a good friend or a guy I liked then it would make my day.
Depends on the guy so just a select few.
If you're asking this you're not in the select few.It would mean more if it came from I guy I liked, otherwise I wouldn't think much of it or might think the guy is a creep!
Definitely just a few select guys. I'd have to be interested in him or be dating him. Otherwise it can get really creepy. Definitely make sure you know the girl really well before you do that.
