So I'm 24 and I'm in college getting my master's. I have a history teacher and I think he's pretty funny. Some of the class don't catch his jokes. They're so corny and I love it. He seems so nerdy yet so professional and the way he talks and he's so interested in what he lectures about and just brims with intelligence. I feel bad that I developed a crush and he looks like that actor Keegan Michael Key. I'm not gonna try anything I have self control but he makes class something to look forward to. I feel he's an example of the type of guy I'd date.

Okay, first thing is first. You aren’t wrong for this. You’re both adults. But…. Number one. You need to figure out your colleges or university policy for professors and other facilities dating students. If it’s against the rules. Don’t act on it.

Maybe build good rapport with him. Once the semester or term/year is over and you no longer have this teacher and it’s okay to date or there is no policy on it. Then by all means ask him out.

Otherwise wait until graduation if he can get into trouble for it. See if you are still into him then or not.
