Does my professor have a huge crush on me?

I have a young professor in his 30s. he always jokes about how our generation uses certain slang even though most of us are in our 20s.
I try to speak out in class as often as I can. Honestly sometimes I have nothing to say.
We do have a very intimate class setting with only like 10 of us and there are easily a few people who speak out much more than I do every class.
Today he kinda got upset because most of my classmates just skimmed through the reading for class. he's a pretty chill professor and really not the kind to lash out or anything but he just asked the whole class was there anything he can do to help improve his teaching. Some of my classmates spoke out. Once he forgot to mark I was present and immediately thought I was absent then after class he was like “Leah again I’m so so sorry”
Today I answered a couple of the questions. I always engage even if I’m not speaking. I’ll nod or something.
There have been some classes in the past when I don’t speak up. I also have certain classmates who never say anything and he’s fine with that and never had pulled anyone aside but me.
Today when I was leaving he was like “Leah can I talk to you for a second?” I asked him if I was in trouble and he said “no you’re not in trouble of course not”.
He proceeded to ask me were things ok with me and how things were going and I told him fine and he hinted at why I wasn’t talking as much in class today and was there anything he can do to make me more comfortable. I basically told him I was shy and not gonna always speak up in class because sometimes I just agree
At the end of our talk he basically said for me to let him know if he can do anything to make me feel good or comfortable. And he said to let him know if I wanted some extra feedback or explanation on my paper that I wrote which I feel like is hinting me coming to his office hours.
I know I am pretty I have been told so many times but I feel like that makes this situation a cliche and want an honest answer.

If anything wait until the class is completed and done and go see him then and ask him out for coffee or something.
Can't really know unless you ask. I doubt he'll say anything, considering the student-teacher relationship.

There are different ways of answering that question.

I'll answer it like this using my own life.

I have a coworker who is stunning. And we are somewhat close - in the office, we are "work spouses". She is fantastically hot - if I am very near her like both looking at her screen, my animal nature begins to assert itself. I want to tune out whatever we are talking about and just stare at her and, if I was a pure animal, start making out with her right then and there.

But, we are married to other people, so I prevent myself from making a move on her. In fact, I love her boss too - he was my boss and a great guy, like an older brother. So, I would never do anything just because that would hurt him so much.

But, bottom line: Do I like her? Yes, not only do I find her incredibly attractive (all straight men do - it's like the elephant in the room), but I find her interesting and very intelligent and I admire who she is. I "like" her in every sense that one could mean. But, I want to be clear about it: I wouldn't do anything about it because it is extremely inappropriate and unethical. Even if we were both widowed, I still probably would not and she probably doesn't think of me in that way anyway, so that's another damper.

OK, that's my story. The story with you and your teacher/professor/instructor is probably similar. He likes you on many different levels but he likely will not act on it. He certainly cannot act on it until you are no longer his student or ever would be his student again.
