Is it wired to want to cuddle?

I'm 21 and I've been single for a while now. I think about cuddling a lot, I think its kind of wired how much I think about cuddling. Honestly I think about it just as much or more that sex. But I only want to cuddling with women im atracted too So I don't just think about cuddling with just anyone. I was just wondering if others thoght about cuddling just as much as I did or am I wired?

No, it feels nice and secure. It used to make me feel like I was worth something when I was in a relationship. Now every guy who shows any interest just wants to give me STDs and run off. I don't get it, and it's lame.

Do you think dating is harder that it use to be? like when our parents generation was dating?

No clue. It's actually probably easier for me because I have pretty bad social anxiety issues, so I only feel comfortable talking over the internet when it comes to meeting someone new.
