I saw a couple of girls from a team fundraising and I asked her how much for a water bottle and she said that it was only a donation and could give whatever I could. I gave her a $1 and she rolled her eyes at me and didn’t even say thank you or anything.

Was $1 a lowball and I’m cheap?

If it was charity it was most likely donated to her group for free. She didn't pay shit for it either way, she is a charity worker... That said, a pack of 40 of those from a generic brand like costco or walmart generally goes for like $4-5 depending on your location. So They are roughly a dime a piece retail. You paid her ten times the retail price, she was just a gold digger ho begging for money on a street corner.

$1 is way more than it cost her... a decent profit on your transaction. You know, it wasn't that long ago that water was free, and some restaurants will still give you a glass of water for free, while others charge you for it.

no that's how much it usually is a concession stands and stuff like that my high school football games and I've seen vending machines with water for 50 cents so a dollar is plenty
