Girls, girl says she is comfortable with me but what does she actually mean by this?

A girl I am friends with recently told me that I am one of the few people she is comfortable with. I felt kind of flattered by this, but it also seems like she actually has a lot of friends or people she is friendly with and it seems hard to believe that I'm one of the only people she is comfortable around. However, she has shared some things with me about herself and her past that I think show a high level of trust because they are things things that you wouldn't quickly share with just anybody. So I guess I'm just confused why she seems to have so many friends, yet implies that she isn't comfortable with most of them.

It’s impossible to know. Friends can be extremely superficial where nothing about actual personal feelings are ever discussed. It’s more just people to do activities with or follow online and that’s it. I personally have no friends at all because to me, either I trust you with my life or I don’t want you in my life. So she could have been speaking sincerely, which, if she does spill personal info to you, sounds possible. Or she could have many people she trusts and you’re just one of them.

I'm a very confident person who is almost always outspoken and fearless but I feel like if I approach the wrong person at the right time, that I've violated a boundary so I avoid forming friendships with people.
