Girl says I understand her, she feels comfortable talking with me over her friends - good or bad sign?

Long story short:

This girl (whom I'm quite fond of) during a study session said that I "understand" her, particularly the way she talks and the things she talks about. She isn't a great speaker and she talks a lot about philosophy, astrology, etc. After a long lunch date (well, pseudo-date, we went dutch), she thanked me for the time as her friends don't like it when she talks or they don't understand her.

I know every girl is different. To me, this can either be:

good - she feels comfortable around me, I'm different than her other friends and offer something unique in her life, perhaps building some kind of attraction

bad - she feels comfortable around me and, since she's somewhat immature, sees this comfort as something can be nothing more than a good friendship

your thoughts?

Ooo. The shy girl. Giving her attention and being patient with her will get you far. Keep talking to her and let her get comfortable with you until she breaks out of her shell.

If you want you want to know if she likes you back, try to show more interest but don't move too fast. Do things like compliment her on something she has done differently or how smart she is, make her laugh by making jokes or teasing her, and if you guys are pretty comfortable with each other, "accidentally" touch her. Like rub arms when walking together, try to get closer to her, smile more and make eye contact and see how she responds.

I'm just getting this from how my crush got me to like him. I was shy and quiet like the girl you mentioned and the guy I like was always nice to me and got me to come out of my shell. I got comfortable around him and he slowly started to do the things I mentioned above and I don't feel like I have to shy away from what he does because I started to like him.

As much as I want to say that this girl likes you, I can't because I don't know her. I don't want to give you false hope either. Only you can know. Just test the waters. All I know from what you provided is that so far, she has taken kindly to you and enjoys your company. Just keep talking to her and hopefully something will come out of it. :D

Feeling comfortable isn't the only important sing for somebody to have feelings for you , there are quite a kit of other factors too , you said you like her. So why don't you try giving her sings And see how she reciprocated ? And yeah another thing you said she isn't a great speaker and she's more into talking about philosophy and stuff , just ask yourself that even if you'll end up together are you okay with discussions about issues other than that ?

Maybe ask her things out of her comfort zone and see how she answers , that should answer your question regarding if she's comfortable as a friend or more. Try figuring out the effort she puts to make you want her if she really likes you. Because if she only thought of you as her friend she'll stick to her comfort zone and won't make an effort to step out and answer about other things :)

What if I can only text her from this point? How do I show signs? Casual check ups? Or directly asking out?

Regarding that part you said about the effort SHE puts, a girl who was hanging out with us told me she could tell she (the topic girl) likes me, but is just too timid. Does that mean I should be ultra aggressive to break her shell?

Okay, if It's just texting stay in regular contact with her , make her feel wanted and loved. Don't be too aggressive be patient. From personal experience my boyfriend was a very shy person in the beginning and it took him some time to open up completely and get his true self out , keep sending her cute little texts asking her if she's gotten home safely after going out or something , or if she's done with her project etc.. compliment her mildly too , she'll love it. :)

I just got out of this... my two sense bro. 1ST: What she said is a good thing, witch me you not a boyfriend, but your a deep friend who has a peace of her hart. She trust you and like you, and feel like you understand her that other guys or her friends don't. It's a secreted bond that can't not be broken because she fell safe. Always be honest on what you say to her and don't lead her on. 2ND: Don't push a relationship, just let it go. Talk to her, flirt with her, but don't be pushy, just be like what you would do with you normal guy or girl friends who you talk to {but with this one here, you can talk about anything.

A good deep friendship can always build into anything if you really get to know each other. This your getting friend-zone is BS bro and any-guy who grips, wines, or call you names for it is not a man but a punk who just mad because he not tapping that and quitting it. Girl's don't like being treating as a trophies case unless they are {you know gold digger}. Be you self, be fun and out going and just hang and see where it goes, if it stays a good deep friendship, well my friend, you will have a good friendship and I will tell you thins, I have a few hot friends, and they help me out on finding other hot girl and act as my wing-man! So its a win-win just don't be a dick.

Then get your sexual energy going. Do it confidently!

Actually I pulled some of that out of my ass. I feel emotionless today. The sexual thing is true. But the come and go thing is sometimes a good thing and sometimes a bad thing. Don't be an a**hole but also don't be a crying shoulder because eventually she will start talking to you about boys she likes to you and you don't want that if you want a relationship with her eventually. Just be upfront and if she tries to mess with you and say you're a sweet boy then back away a little bit and respect it

I think you've got a leg in the friend zone, if you don't show attraction quick you'll be waist deep. Make it clear to her that you're not looking for a friendship because it's almost too late.
