Does she like me or does she see me as a friend?

There’s a girl that I like in one of my classes. We went out twice, but the last time I asked her out, she said it was too far (I asked her to go hiking, and it would’ve taken an hour by public transit). I recently asked her out again. She didn’t say no, but didn’t commit to going out. Told me that she may have something to do, but to text her the details.

So every time after class, we always walk together for a little over half a mile before parting ways. She’s smiling, and laughing at the things I say, and our conversations flow pretty well. However, while she always replies to my texts and doesn’t give me one word replies, she takes forever to reply. She initiated the last couple of texts, but it was to ask about things related to class.

sounds like she likes you but maybe not into you. I had the same thing happen to me sort of except we did hang out a bit. for me in the end of turned out she did like me and I should have made a move.

the way I see it you have 2 options. friend road or make a move. if you get rejected you need to pay it cool though. if you don't she will probably avoid you. on the flip side if you get rejected, you play it cool - she might just come around...

Man , your option on a first date was pretty stupid ( Sorry ) , do that stuff later on. Ask her out , and keep in simple , dinner as preference , if not lunch , but dont die wondering , go in a bit harder , just be upfront and stop dancing around the topic during this 1 mile walk.
