- She texts me almost every other day (day and night). She’s showed me her messages before & she gets a lot from many guys.
- She’s always near me especially if I’m not talking to her. In a group she’ll get my attention by saying something to me or about me.
- She notices things I do even if I don’t talk to her and talk to others in large groups.
- She’s always happy when with me or when I’m going to something she’s going to.
- we’ve known each other 2 years but only got to know her well last few months.
- if I get too close to her while making eye contact, she’ll stay put and make eye contact then after a bit move away.
- She looks at me a lot in a group but looks away when I look back.
- She keeps hinting she wants to go on holiday with me.
- She doesn’t tell people we see each other a lot alone. We turned up to a friends birthday party late once as we were in a cafe and museum. She kept texting her best friend she’ll be later.
- She behaves in a similar way to another guy which makes us want to compete.

She's probably giving you the green light. Meaning, ask her out. And she pushes even further by showing you that if you're not fast, another guy will steal the spotlight. But she doesn't wanna appear like a flirty girl so she said she's not interested in dating.
Ofc, there's the catch that she might acutually like the other guy, I can't tell which among you 2 she's aiming for through your brief description so you'll have to figure that out. Personally I don't do this so I could be wrong... But I'd say if you like her, go for it.

Yeah I told her I only see her as a friend. But only because she started acting uncomfortable after I asked her to meet for a drink alone before we started meeting up alone.

Alright bro, here's what you gotta do. Next time you guys are alone, tell her that you find her attractive/funny/smart/great to be around (etc, you know better why you like her than I do.), say that you like her, and ask if she'd like to go out for a coffee or something sometime. If she says no, it's all good, just let things cool down for a while and then you can go back to being friends. If she says yes, come back here and tell us about it. Good luck man!
