About a month ago I started hanging out with this girl that I met on a friendship app. We've been texting on and off for about 2 years prior to meeting. The first time we hung out it went well. There were some awkward moments here and there but I felt that we clicked from the first day of meeting up. After hanging out for the first time she still continues to texts me and asks me if I'm down to make plans with her (e. g go to the movies, mini golf etc.).
A few weeks ago we went to a fair and I noticed that she was throwing signs that she might be into me. For example, at the fair she was constantly asking how her hair looked/ playing around with it. Her tone of voice became more higher pitched and she was laughing loudly at my jokes. Also when I bring up an activity/ future plan she always says that she'll be down to go. I know I'm pretty bad at interpreting these things as I've never been in a relationship before. But does it seem that she likes me as more than a friend? I really enjoy hanging out with this girl and care about her but considering that we are friends I dont want ruin this friendship by making a move.
Also one thing I've noticed is that everytime we hang out she finds a way to talk briefly about her ex. She talks about how he's a narcissist, manipulative etc. For example, last time we hung out she was going to text me a link about a video we were talking about and she "accidently" sends me a text which she tells me to ignore because it was a text fight that she had with her ex. I dont know but for some reason I dont think it was an accident that she sent me that text. What do you guys think? Is she trying to tell me something by "accidently" sending me that message? And why is she finding a way to bring up her ex if he's really that type of toxic guy?
The main thing I would like to know is if you guys think that she's into me as more than a friend and if so what are some subtle ways to make a move? Also what does her ex situation mean?
