If a guy brings a girl flowers does that means he thinks of her as more than a friend?

I have had a rough time the past two weeks. My dad had a heart attack and is in intensive care. This guy that I met through mutual friends had been tryng to call me. I sent him a text to let him know why I wasn't returning his calls. He said that he understood and hoped everything turned out for the best. He started to call my best friend to get updates about the situation and told her he was worried about me. He was coming to town for Thanksgiving and told her he was going to come to the hospital to see me. When he got to the hospital, I wasn't there. He introduced himself as a friend of mine when he met my brother. He told my brother that he had come to see me and brought me flowers. He came back to see me later that night when I got back. Everyone keeps telling me that guys don't bring flowers to a girl that they are friends with. They say that he is trying to tell me that he wants to be more that friends. They tell me that the proof is the fact that he thought enough about me to bring flowers to me in person instead of having them delivered and that he also came back to the hospital later. What do you think? Are we friends or does he want to be more?

He didn't get the other friend flowers. And I'd agree with your brother, if he says so, he met him, so he probably felt the nervousness vibe from him, lol. Ask 'em. lol.

And I think he's worried about you, because if we were just friends I would of brought food, to replace the hospital food. And everyone probably would of been hungry. But with friends, you think of everyone, not just one person. You got his attention. I think.

I would see where it goes. Honestly, if a guy is willing to give you flowers and see you at the hospital/meet family over a sick father...he is probably into you. Because that is quite a large gesture.
