Why are some girls attracted to shyness in guys?

i have seen it with my girl friends. They will be more friendly and talkative with guys from our social circle who are shy, and also say stuff like why they are shy/nervous and also asking them if they feel nervous around girls in a joking way. Is that considered flirting?

Not sure if it's seen as flirting. However, I think women are attracted to shy men because they aren't seen as threatening to a woman.
Loud and bold men can be intimidating to women who aren't used to that kind of thing.

For a girl asking a guy if he has a crush on her? No. Most women don’t see that as flirting. Some women ask those questions because she’s curious to know how he sees her or why he might be acting odd when around her. Some women can be playful but not mean anything by it

Depends on the touching.
Some people are very touchy-feelers.
For example, you pointed out how a bit of your shirt feels weird. I would, more then likely, touch your shirt to feel the part where you said it feels weird.
That isn’t flirting.

It’s hard to say what kind of touching it was but what happened was that there was a girl who came really close to me with our waists really close, an inch apart or so. She was facing me while i was facing a wall in front of me. Then she put her hand on my stomach and kept it there and just looked at me while saying nothing.

I’m just not sure what the odds are of her liking me. Another thing she has done is ask me if i have a girlfriend a day before the touching atuff happened.

Its a girl i dont really know, i asked my my friends and they said she is interested.
