I don’t think anyone wants to be cheated on. I think often it’s assumed “it’s different now”, or “it’s different with me than his ex”. They possibly hold onto the good qualities and think they can change or wait out the bad, some people have no idea that cheating is happening. I believe that people allow what they feel they are worth. And I’m speaking from experience. I allowed myself to stay in situations longer than I should have because at the time I genuinely didn’t know better or different, and I didn’t have any confidence in myself. I couldn’t fathom in my mind that better existed for me until I was shown later in my life.
