I not a fan being called daddy but lately she been calling me daddy and I wondering why. Is it what position we are in, is it because I call her baby girl, something about her own dad or is it something else? Do you call your man daddy?

I dont think it has anything to do with daddy issues. I playfully call dudes “zaddy” and Papi. But i see nothing sexy about callin a dude “daddy” unless he's some old man trying to pull a fast one and then i’ll jokingly refer to him as “big daddy”. And since you mentioned it, whats with the “baby girl”? I despite that pet name with a passion. I prefer babe/bae.

Calling her babygirl is likely a reason, aswell as the possible power dynamic if you’re the dominant one in the relationship. Daddy is just another pet name like baby or sweetheart, but mostly used sexually and for dominant men.


I sometimes call my boyfriend daddy but only in specific kink scenarios, I don’t just call him it casually, as the title holds a lot of power in the relationship.
