Why do guys want a girl to stay, when she is angry?

When girls are angry, they want to run away and be left alone to heal. But most guys try to prevent girls from running away. Why?

It's a kind of psychological response. When someone is angry, we assume we have something to do with it, and it sets off our own anxiety responses so when someone feels bad, we don't want them to feel bad because it makes us feel bad. It's something like that. A lot of times, men don't have the emotional intellect to recognize that you need to let people just feel bad sometimes in order to move past how they're feeling, especially when the person is angry over something they did. They try to get them to feel better quickly to try and solve that problem to soothe their anxiety about their partner's anger.

I don't want her to stay to be honest. If she's angry without a good reason, I stay away from her and will not talk to her unless she has calmed down or has a good reason to.

I'm not running after anyone and not trying to keep anyone.

No guys don't do this controlling partners do the same as when a guy gets pissed and tries to walk away and she tries to make him stay

Because guys might think there is a problem he created so he prefers to solve that with her.
