The “Undie run” is a charity event for donating clothes to the homeless (including the clothes off your back) and running around campus in your undies. This is common in western and southern colleges such as UCLA, CSU, and Texas.

What Girls Said
I have given my clothes to charity multiple times before when those are no longer fitting or my tastes have changed. I don't give clothing that are ragg, have holes or old and I would never give any undergarments or bras because I am aware that people are reticent about those pieces of clothing.
I ensure that the clothing that I give to charity are washed and where necessary, ironed. As a student, I don't have much money and thus, I am very selective with what I part with. I am aware that there are a lot of people that have nothing and (hopefully) welcome my clothing.
However, I am not a person of no morals and self-esteem and would never run in my underwear in my underwear. This is not who I am. I have too much dignity for something like that.

@PrettyPriya Ah, that's why I was not aware of that term. I tend to pack way too much when I go somewhere. I end up taking back half of the clothes that I packed totally unused. I tell myself that next time I will be a little wise but alas, I am not...
@SueShe I am very much guilty of the same thing. I have been lightly scolded on the most recent journey when my other half picked up my bag to depart for the airport.
He said it weighed more than I did. Exaggerate much? Sigh...
@PrettyPriya Yes, but you had a very valid excuse!
