Are women more likely to just be unaware that they're aging?

I see it all the time, TikToc videos of a woman complaining that men don't give her a chance anymore or "Where have all the good men gone?"

For example, I've seen videos of women complaining that men don't hit on her anymore (or at least the caliber of men that used to), and she doesn't understand why a man her age will 'hit it & quit it' or use her for sex and not try to enter a long term exclusive relationship with her... such as marriage. It's like she doesn't understand that a 40-year-old man's only options are not only women as old as her. I mean think about it, fresh meat is put out on the market every day. If an old car and a new car could literally end up costing you the same, why not go for a newer model? Just saying.

So are many women (not all), just unaware that they don't look like they did at 25 until it becomes painfully too obvious to ignore?

Another part of the problem is that these people who spend so much time on social media see a lot of photos and videos of themselves with filters. Then they look in the mirror after taking off their irl filters (makeup) and think, "Holy crap, I look so much older than I thought." Well no crap. You spend all day looking at yourself, but rarely is it unfiltered.

It's like when your friend gets a new dog and it looks way bigger after a week but to them they don't notice a change. Because it was gradual they saw it everyday so they didn't notice.

Exactly right? I mean they just look in the mirror every day and just think "oh I'm the hawt girl, I'll do this bullshit to my face" and they don't even realize when they start looking like a man and they just start painting their face harder and harder until they realize they can't hide it any longer... they're old... fucking old.

They ignore many things, I have seen fat women upload photos to Instagram thinking they are pretty, it is society's fault for not reminding them of their reality.

Probably. Vanity may fool some of them. I think the ones that are afraid of aging, are the same ones that doesn't realize the years that pass by.

I think most women are acutely aware of their aging, especially after about 30.
