Why are the comments of ageing so heavily on women than it is for men?

Like why is it so harsh and violent? Like as soon as a woman is over 25 people start degrading her and tell her that her life is gonna end or something.. And when she turns 40 no one will want her...

I'm 31 (I don't know how to change my age on here), and trust me, men get shat on for getting older as well, just in different ways. Where some people might say women get "uglier" as they age, they say men get "creepier." The main difference is that men are generally seeing as the breadwinners, so as they age, what they lose in attractiveness, they usually get in dependability or wealth.

Also, men and women of the same age will usually be willing to date around their own age as well. Men are statistically more likely to be fine with dating younger (though women often do too), especially if they just want a good time, but most of them would still go for someone their own age.

In the flip side, some men do enjoy going after older women, especially if they keep in shape. I've seen 60-70 year old women who still look good, because they keep in shape. Most often though, people let themselves go as they get older. No shame in that, it's their life, but that is a factor.

Anyway, don't worry about it too much. If you are concerned with your appearance, then take care of your health, and you'll still look good until you can no longer keep up. But I can assure you older women have their own appeal.

Have you seen how the strong and independent boss babes progressively start acting towards men as they age and their options start to die?

Like, just ask yourself... if you were a dude, is that what you'd want? She has kids, and baggage, she wants to be serious now because she's done having fun now... or would you want to have some fun with someone?

Every chick I know that is actually pleasant to be around that's older... they're a taken and spoken for woman... or in one case, her husband died. It's the boss chicks that are insufferable... I wouldn't want to come home to that. Would you?

I'm not even going to speak about looks... that should just be obvious 🤡. But a guy trying to have kids is probably aware that 90% of her eggs are gone at age 30, and at age 35 there is a high chance of complications.

Probably has something to do with how your fertility goes down the more you age. This goes for both women and men. And then the thing is if you had to choose between an old man or a young man who’s in his prime the odds are you’re gonna choose the young man. It’s not about just women and it’s not about just men it’s more about preferences. Also I don’t believe it’s only women who experience it. Remember just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean It doesn’t happen. And if it is only women I’m sure men go through something similar to that. Remember both genders have something they suffer with and just because one is known more does not necessarily mean that the other problem is lesser.

Only clowns on the internet care how old a women is we can still get the young bucks... if we really want them... don't take it personally... men with these closed mindsets will do themself in when they realize they have an expiry date too... the stupid thing is men aren't as fertile either as they age and a lot of birth defects have to do with an older man being the father... so who really gives a shit...

They don't. It just seems that way because women who before her 30's and 40's lived off her looks. Don't understand why guys don't want to tolerate her b. s. now. A good woman NEVER loses value at any age. But we're not talking about good women here.

Because the things that make women desirable to men peak in their early 20s and decrease from that point forward, whereas the things that make a man desirable to women only begin to manifest in their late 20s or early 30s and continue to increase with age for many years after that.

It's important to note that we're talking about desirability, not physical attractiveness. They are related but different things.
