depends. if I was close enough and knew him well enough, sure. but if not, then no. I also don’t try and ‘find’ people’s socials, I personally think it’s weird. I’ve had people somehow find my socials and I hated it. I’d only add him if he was in my suggested list or something.

the reason why i'm saying this is because i recently got laid off from my job and i had a good rapport with some people at work. This girl I know would always smile and say my name or ask me if i'm ok and etc every time at work. She didn't do that with everyone. But because the layoff came by surprise I couldn't really say goodbye to her. I know her name and if I search her on IG or something I can find her. But I find it odd to message her through DM's.

I don’t agree with the whole it’s weird to search for someone on social media. It’s social media. If people wanted their life to be private they wouldn’t bother having social media. I know people guys and girls who got sick of social media and just quit it all together because they want real privacy and no distractions. If people think it’s weird that an innocent guy is trying to search a girl online. Just remember, the government does hold information and obtain information online especially since META owns all the big platforms.

I mean if you truly 100% believe that and if she has that same mind set I guess she doesn’t care I was let go of the job and wouldn’t care going forward. Welp, I guess that chapter of my life is done and I will never talk to her again, ever.

I think you should go for it, seems like she likes you. maybe not in the same way as you, who knows, but she likes you. just be casual when/if u dm her tho
