As a man I find women who do not wear makeup very attractive. So I would take it as good sign, because if you are an attractive person you can't really hide it and you should feel the need to have to wear makeup.

Nothing sexier to me, then a woman who is confident with herself, and can look good without make up and still be gorgeous. My current girlfriend is a natural beauty to me. Sure, she wore make up, at first and sure she looked good. Nothing excessive or anything like that.

One day I told her that she has amazing skin, the type of skin that looks better without make up. She said really, because she only wears makeup because other women do but honestly, she hates it. I told her seriously, I am not just saying it to make you feel good, I love naturally pretty women you are not scared to hide it behind make up. That when you are with me you never have to wear makeup. She was so happy to hear that, and she has not worn make one time in last 6 weeks and she is gorgeous!

If that's the case, she said that because she thinks that you're really pretty and kinda like complimenting you. If she thinks otherwise then her question should be "why dont you try wearing makeup?" And not if you ever wear makeup.
