Why would she block me on instagram when she already has a private account?

i tried to add her around a week ago , then mid this week i noticed her page has disappeared as it had been in my search results as i had searched her when i added her. it seems like she blocked me as her page is no where to be found. i tried to search her on an instagram viewer and it came up but private so i can't view but seems like its still there i just can't find it on mine as i'm blocked

not sure what the point in blocking me was? as her page is private anyways so i can't view it and can't message her. we also know each other in real life although haven't spoke in a couple months

She blocked you both so that she knows you can't see her posts, as well, as to make certain you can't find her to set up another account. She is covering every possibility so I expect that she is very serious about you not being a part of her life. WOMEN are crazy so forget about her...

i can't see her posts either way as her account is private , we knew each other fairly well during the summer then she like disappeared , i still talk to some of her girlfriend's as they still work or go to our local pub but i haven't seen her there in some time and not sure why

we knew each other in real life , knew some of the same people at this pub i went to , she had worked there as a server in the past but not there now. we used to talk a lot , had done " shots" drinks at the bar together

i also added another girl she's friends with and she accepted my request so others there didn't have an issue with me adding them

we've never been friends on social media before or messaged each other online , but i had seen her instagram before , i actually used to follow her on my old account but it doesn't work anymore and i can't log in to it , hasn't worked since mar 2022 so i haven't seen her page in almost a year

but its already private so i could only view the basic info and profile picture.

i could see her politely rejecting the request or sitting on it forever but an all out block seems harsh considering all i did was send 1 request

i agree she doesn't want me to view her page but not sure why or what could possibly be posted there that she doesn't want me to see so badly. her girlfriend's post pictures with her at parties or bars and don't why it matter if i see that

Maybe she doesn't want to be "friends" with you per say. She could think you're a creep. This very same thing has happened to me b4 too. I have no idea why someone would act so harshly

i wondered about that too , she wanted to make sure i couldn't try again at another point down the road
