Why did she unrestrict my Instagram?

I was in a strange relationship with a girl for a year. We got along, and we had good chemistry.

But just consequences of life, I had my Instagram difficult to find due to family issues. Didn't even have my picture as the profile, it was private, and a game character as the username.

Earlier this year, the girl I was seeing, hid her story and restricted my account, cause she didn't know it was me. But I just never said anything so I wouldn't have that conversation. I dunno.

Anyway, our relationship ended because when I told her I loved her, she said she didn't feel. the same way and I was too much for her.

Now, 4 months after our breakup, I sent her a message on Facebook before I deleted it, just saying how much she hurt me and how she really mistreated me throughout our relationship, and it was pretty bad at times, to the point I went to therapy for it. She read it but didn't respond.

A month later, I unblocked her on my actual Instagram account, and although the username was unchanged, I added my actual profile picture, and added my name.

Today, I noticed she came up as a search suggestion, but she had unrestricted my account. I was able to view her stories again. Which I thought was weird. Cause she probably didn't know it was me, or that it was the same account. But the stories are now viewable again.

This just absolutely doesn't make sense to me. What's up with this?
