Why is it that whenever a guy compliments my physical appearance one of my friends says he’s just thirsty?

I can't tell solely based on what you've said. They could be jealous or they might be trying to protect you. Is this the same guy complimenting you every time? What is he complimenting you about? Is it your earrings or your ass? What you said here isn't enough to tell why your friends are saying that
