Only about the top percentage of men get treated like every man got treated in the 1950s. Nowadays, if you want that respect, you have to be rich, handsome and fit.

@Anonymous it helps, for sure but TBH the trait you have to have is confidence. Because of how male female dynamics work it's on the man to approach, and reality is a lot of young guys are scared. I get it, you're humiliation may be more public than 15-20 years ago, but women are simply a numbers game and the more you practice the better you will become.

I would hope they give men the basic human respect most people deserve. Anything beyond that is earned.
