Girls, How long does it take to style your hair?

I am asking because I have a friend that devotes an hour to this every single morning. She looks great when she is done... but... an hour? How can it take that long?

For me, not long, but I have long, straight hair.

It completely depends on the texture and thickness of the hair. A colleague of mine spends about 45 minutes on her hair each morning - her hair is just above shoulder length but extremely curly (it's quite long if she gets it straightened) and she has to use products to help her not look like a crazy mad scientist (as she puts it, lol). The typical products for managing curly hair can be quite expensive too.

I takes me about 10 minutes and I have long, thick, hair. It used to take me hours... yes, up to 3 hours. That was before there were better hair products and the styling tools were limited to a weak blow dryer and a curling iron. Thanks be to the beauty industry that I can get it done in 10 minutes now. 🎉
