What do you do when your girlfriend is crying?

My girlfriend has been dealing with some drama over her favorite band on Instagram. This one girl who's a know it all about the band she was talking about my girlfriends favorite member having an affair with his band mates girlfriend it makes her upset to talk about it gives her anxiety she called her immature and even though he did a bad thing to show respect for his girlfriend and son she will not she's the reason she has anxiety. When she first read about it in an interview he did she cried all night over it couldn't sleep also he said the guys girlfriend who he was with said he was abusing her but she lied to get with him an have his kids it's a pretty upsetting situation for her. She can't believe her friend called her immature just because she knows more about the band than her she said she's gonna block her tomorrow she's sick of hearing about it. She called the guys girlfriend a slut and whore she said that was immature she should say nice things but she hates the girl for doing that to them plus what do you call someone who sleeps with his best friends girlfriend and gets her pregnant a slut and a whore apparently this smart ass know it all don't understand it. If someone did that to my band mates or if they did it with one of their girlfriends I definitely call the girl that lucky we know better not to have affairs or cheat with someone else's partners. My girlfriend is crying right now plus this girl has seen the band she lives in the same country as them she's jealous because she'll never see them they don't come here very rarely all she wants is to see and meet her celebrity crush yet this girl has to be a bitch about it she thought she was her friend she's been through enough Instagram drama as it is. How can I calm her down?

Thats a dumb reason to be upset, I would never date a woman who gets anxiety over what celebs do in their private lives.

But, for a sane woman thar I'd actually date/marry, who is upset over a genuine problem or loss she is facing, usually a mix of problem solving, humor, hugs, kisses, and anything else she finds comforting/reassuring, etc.
