Why do some girls steal a guy who's taken?

My brothers new girlfriend started dating my brother when she knew he was in a 8 year relationship at thay time but she still got involved and ended up breaking them up. Why do some girls do this?

Firstly No elderly man in his normal 5 senses can be stolen.. You can't blame the girl in this situation. Every person has a choice. So if he left his long time girlfriend to be with this new one it probably means he didn't love her enough to be with her. Plus being with someone for many years doesn't guarantee happily ever after unfortunately.
