So I’m in school and I was in the lunch line waiting for my food and one of the volleyball girls which I never talked to before came up from her friends table to talk to me, she goes hi (my name). I was like hello , she was asking me how my day was and I forgot the other stuff we talked about and I thought she was getting her food I was being a gentleman and was gonna let her cut me she goes no she just getting water. She then said hey (my name), I really like your glasses and she has a pair like mine but wears contacts. Then he had to go and said bye (my name)

Personally I don’t think you can decide that from one conversation. If she continues to talk to you then I’d say she’s trying to get to know you more. If not, then it was just a friendly interaction.

My personal motto is basically assume everyone's just being nice unless someone's literally saying otherwise. Might not work for you but that's just how I go about with life.
