How to act like a lady and think like a man?

This is kind of tough.. very few things are 100% binary among the 2 genders mentioned. There's masculine women and feminine men.

Based on what I perceive to be some generally accepted traits loosely associated with their respective genders:

• wear clothing that accentuates your figure without being too revealing; modest with a hint of sultry.

• avoid harsh or profane language or mannerisms, ensure hygiene and appearance are presentable whenever possible.

• before reacting to any information or offering an opinion, pause and consider your words from the alternate perspective. Don't hesitate to have a debate within yourself to test your idea or theory to ensure it's the best possible solution or addition to the conversation.

• take time away from distractions and let yourself get lost in a hobby or interest. Give something 100%, especially if it's challenging, and don't give up if it gets hard. Avoid any shortcuts.

• acknowledge your emotions, but don't act on them. If possible, make decisions that aren't based on emotions. Over time, emotions change- but decisions made don't. Set aside emotions to be dealt with later, after the decision is made.

I'm sure others will offer other options or castigate me on my 2 cents, but I can admit that I'm a little old fashioned and I welcome others to chime in and/or improve my suggestions.

To me, if you are a woman and you want to be treated like a lady then you need to act like a lady, when a man does something gentlemanly for you acknowledge it, because that is what a real lady would do.

For example, if a man holds the door for you... think a like a man, look him in the eyes and say thank you. Thats what a lady would do, and that's what a gentleman would do. Sure, if you are thinking like a man, you can assume that he only did this because he thinks your good looking and wanting a to get your attention, but at the end of the day holding the door for a lady is what a gentleman would do regardless of his motivations.

If a women held a door for me, as a man I would look her in the eye and say thank you. If she smiles back at me and say no problem or my pleasure... sure that might get my attention, but I would not assume too much. But the kindness she showed me in that moment does make feel good as a person, and why not allow that for someone even if you are not romantically involved or looking to be.

But as a lady thinking like a man, know your boundaries and when he crosses them... just hack his ass off at the head.

But I like steel toes instead of stiletto’s. No make up and pay my own way. Don’t get into head ache conversations and I don’t get into trendy crowds or groups. Keep to myself and I don’t need to be the centre of attention.

I believe this means embracing femininity and being lady-like with how you behave, act, and carry yourself. Basically, having the charm of a feminine lady.


YET, understanding men, understanding how men think and behave and knowing how to charm a man, attract a man, and not be taken advantage of by a man.


It’s being attractive and alluring yet intelligent and cunning.


If you act like a man you will not attract very men.


If you think like a woman, you may be taken advantage of if you don’t know how men think.


Acting like a lady but thinking like a man will make you both attractive, yet powerful, all while remaining feminine.
