Stop caring about everything. Realize that what other people think of you doesn't matter, so you don't have to spend so much time and energy trying to please them. There are a handful of people in your life whose opinion of you should matter, and everyone else can kiss your ass.

It's really that simple. Once you realize that you don't have to care about what the rest of the world thinks about you (and only care about the handful of people who are important to you), then you can relax like you've never done before. Realize that you can't control everything, and that sometimes you're going to lose or fail despite doing your very best - but sometimes you'll win or succeed too - but either way, you'll learn something, and some parts of life are simply out of your control, so there's no point in worrying about those parts. You can have great grades and apply for certain schools or jobs or programs, and maybe you won't get in - but maybe a month later, you'll bump into a friend out of the blue who has an even better offer for you. You never know. What you DO know is that worrying about the things you can't control gets you nothing but headaches and ulcers - so stop worrying, and focus only on the parts that you can directly control.

I have been called out for having a nonchalant attitude too many times - It's quite easy - It's giving a fuck about almost nothing - genuinely - "almost" being in the sentence because we're not robots so in case someone we love gets hurt or something of that magnitude we will get into it quickly - and really realizing that 99.999999999999999% of what people name as issues are things that seriously don't matter because they're out of our control - Like so what I have to wait 6 hours because I fucked up my tires on the highway and get late to work for the 15th time - it is what it is - It's really that simple.. All that is in your control is your actions and reactions to things - anything else is a joke..

Whenever you have a tough emotion. Something that you know might cause you to have to open up about your feelings. Don't. Take that emotion and swallow it. Swallow it and let it sit just below your gut forever until one day it hurts to much and you explode on someone. Possibly someone who didn't deserve to receive that misdirected frustration.

    *sarcasm*

Women are much better with their emotions than men. Please don't actually do this.

The art of not giving a fuck.

Worry about what you can control.

    Not what you can't.

Don't depend on anyone. Financially or emotionally accept that no one is coming to help you, and you cannot voice your emotion or feelings on it so you play tougher than you are to avoid ridicule

    And there ya go.

I once heard for men it's our facade of strength and women facade of weakness.

I think that growing up over time, most men tend to learn to compartmentalize things in a way that most women still do not. Not saying that they cannot, but that does seem to be my experience anyway.

Well, it is a skill to practice. That is, don't let your problems at work, spill into your relationships, which in turn you should not let spill into your health. Focus upon one problem at a time, and put the others into mental "compartments" while focusing on one. Does that make sense?

You need 2 🐝 exposed to a different class of men, preferably ones that are more socially engaged the nonchalant would allow.

Just don't react to every little thing that comes at you through the day.
