Anthony shocked people of her time when she wore pants in public. Marie Curie became a scientist when she was expected to get a husband. Maya Angelou was a poet in a time when African Americans were considered uneducated. Mae Jemison erased race and gender gaps among NASA astronauts. Anne Frank exposed the horrors of holocaust.
