Do men appericate women who'll be with them through thick & thin?

My boyfriend is going through some extremely tough times and I'm holding on so far - despite lack of communication, etc. because he's struggling - and yet at the same time it's getting to the point I seriously wonder does he appericate me hanging on or is it going to end up being a waste of my time (by this I mean once he's settled, he moves on).

It's not like I can't find someone else. I've a good personality, I am not unattractive, etc.

But I liked him from the start and we've spoken about a potential future everytime we get together once this hardship is over. And yet some part of me truly does wonder if he means what he says about a future or if what he says are just words.

The saying goes, you dont know what you got till its gone. it has valuable merit.

If he doesn't know any different, that is- he has never had a relationship where a woman took advantage of him and did not support him through the tough times, then it is impossible for him appreciate what he has now.

Unfortunately there is only one way to find out. Sometimes when you start down a path there is no way to know how it ends until you get to the end or it. I don't know what problems this guy is dealing with but you need to make up your own mind about this.
