Do Women Assume That Men Will Be Mean To Them?

I think I have ran into this several times. Where a woman assumes that I don't like her, even though I do. It makes me scratch my head and wonder what did I say? What did I do? I heard one woman on youtube say this, "Women grow up believing that Men are bad because the feminists tell them this". I know that there are some bad guys out there, and many made my life miserable in school. But I have also met some really hurtful women as well. As far as I can tell, in general terms, Bad men tend to be bad in one way. A Bad Woman does it in a different way. But both ways are hurtful to another human being. I sure wish people would be more kind and graceful to each other. I'm not perfect but that is still what I wish.

Feminists don’t tell women that men will be mean to them. Mothers tell their daughters that, if given a chance, a man will hurt you for his personal advantage. Usually with stories from their own experiences. Women have always had this fear of men, the difference is feminism shames men for being the reason why we’re scared rather than shaming women for not doing enough to protect themselves.


As for this woman you reference, you probably just gave off a bad vibe and she’s been running with it ever since.

Hey, thanks for your input!

This is a great question that I want to hear more about. This is not about feminism although it could be the result of the assumption. I grew up with authoritarian parents who kept telling me I was "sheltered from bad people." That's not true because I have my fair share of tramas and they've responded pretty badly to what I've said, began to say and do before doing it. So whenever I interact with a man, I'm careful to watch myself. I respond differently to different ages too.

Maybe this would’ve been best in the girl behavior section.. but think it’s just because we are more dominant and we have a “bad boy” image to us, so we are kinda looked down upon. I might be wrong
