If smoking is considered masculine and manly why are women in society against younger men like myself becoming smokers when smoking is manly?

For along time smoking and tobacco products were associated with being a masculine and being a man which the commercials for tobacco are advertised towards men for years why did women become more against men and smoking and campaigned against men and smoking even against young men becoming smokers

Smoking isn't good for you. So while I'm against societies push to feminize men, smoking is a terrible habit to take up for anyone. If you're looking for something that will take a load off, I would look into shrooms. Shrooms is currently used to treat patients with PTSD with a very high success rate. There is also a documentary on Netflix called "How to change your mind". While shrooms was criminalized back in the 60's, it turns out that there was never any medical evidence supporting its criminalization, but because it was, researchers were force to stop their research into it until recently. And scientists have made incredible discoveries about it since, that can be found practically everywhere now. So again, smoking is terrible for you, as is alcohol. Both are literally poisons that society has normalized, and they only hurt you in the long run.

I never started or wanted to smoke and I don't really consider it manly maybe if its a cigar or something. I feel women are trying a way to fit in or use it as a social outlet. Also I feel when you get in a relationship with someone that smokes it kinda ends up making the other person smoke also. My brother and sister never smoked until they had relationships where the other person smokes.
