As for the definition of egotistical, I can’t say I have an exact definition for you however, I will see it is similar to prideful. Two key differences between ego and pride is number one pride is earned while ego is not, and another one is that somebody can be prideful, while being humble, but one cannot have an ego and be humble.


For some things I have pride, and for other things, I have an ego. I take pride in my physical and mental strength, but I have an ego when it comes to my luck with women.


I have pride in my skills as a cook, but I have an ego when it comes to my intellect.
