We have been exchanging glances for a while but we haven't talked yet, and she doesn't speak much in class. Similar to me because I don't talk much either.
She is usually surrounded by her friends so I find it difficult to approach her.

I was shy in highschool so best way is not to make yourself known yet by if doubt out from her friends her phone number please do not move too quickly you will scare her away and enjoy the texts when it’s closer to break you can reveal yourself have fun! Remember she’s not used to guys and not used to being hit on in person mostly everything is digital so go slow in person
Just be direct and up front about it, build up some common ground with each other. See what kind of things she likes, try to make a connection somewhere.
