What is a “pick me” girl?

It's a way to be little a girl who actually tries to please mens list of requirements for wifes, not only for sex. So she actually check mens list and see what she can do to please him in a relationship. Unlike those women who choose to be little her. They refuse to do anything for a man. And that why the remain being ran through at the bottom of the pick list.

It's a thing boring women call fun women, in an attempt to try to diminish their value to men who dislike boring women.
Basically fun women point out why they are fun, perhaps showing off interests and hobbies they like, or talents and skills. Then the boring women say the fun women are faking it, and are just being "pick me" girls, so they don't seem less important to guys than the fun women.

A "pick me" girl is basically a tomboy girl who still looks girly, whereas a simp is a person who idolizes or spoils another person who doesn't want them or is just using them.

Most men want the "pick me" girl, they are the "creme of the crop" so to speak, the hot girl with the fun hobbies, the girl who will play video games and likes sci-fi and is logical and makes crude jokes and is basically like "one of the guys".

You can't be in popular demand AND be a simp. Most simps are simping over the "pick me" girls. That and models.

You 100% have the wrong definition of a “pick me.” Seems like you created your own definition. A pick me girl is just what it implies, a girl who does anything to be picked by a male for his attention including pretend to have hobbies (such as sports) she doesn’t have, or downing other women to make herself seem like she is different, when she really isn’t.

It’s funny, the girl you described, I know a few girls like that including myself and calling them a “pick me” is one of the biggest insults. I am not sure where you got this definition from but the term only became popular within the past few years.

Most men indeed pick “pick me” women, the women with good looks, no personality, no real hobbies of their own, their man cheats around and they blame the girl instead of him.

I honestly think you have the wrong definition. From your profile, it says you’re 36, but the term “pick me” is widely used by kids in their early 20’s so you may be mistaken.

Speaking from a woman in her 20’s, I can assure you that they are. I don’t know what is leading you to believe that women with actual interests are outcasted in all aspects, this isn’t a 1970s romcom.
And like I said, you have the wrong definition. Real women with the interests you described don’t care about getting validation from a man, and that’s the difference.

@noemiii I don't agree, the term pretty much only gets used as a way to attempt to discredit mental tomboy women's claims, by claiming they don't actually like that stuff and just want validation (instead of a relationship with a similarly minded guy), much like you are doing right now.

From what I can gather, we withess the same things, but you believe the liars and I believe the girl who says she has those hobbies (because I bother to actually boot up a game and invite her, or see her make artwork, or talk to her about science, sci-fi, anime, etc.)

I've never seen a woman lie about liking stuff I like, because faking it is pretty much impossible. But do often see boring women putting those types of women down by dismissing them as liars and attention whores.

Like I said before, the definition of a “pick me” is a woman thirsty for male validation. I have a lot of interests and I’ve seen plenty of women fake interest in these things for male validation, and no it’s not impossible. You can literally google anything and everything. These women, are attention whores.
Like I said, you have the wrong definition. Look up pick me and please tell me where it says what you’ve described. And just for the record, the word “pick me” is a male coined word, created by a man in the first place. And keep in mind, “pick me” girls usually act like that towards attractive men. If you aren’t attractive, you won’t have a lot of experience with a chick like that because why would a girl like that need to fake an interest to get your attention? Just saying. Pick me chicks are usually the attractive women who base their personality on their looks and have no real interest outside of that.

@noemiii I still don't agree on the definition, because the girls it gets used on the most end up usually actually having fun hobbies and interests. Whereas the attractive women with no hobbies are usually the ones calling the tomboy girls "pick me girls" to put them down to discredit them out of jealousy/competition.

Lol I can definitely say I’ve never been called a pick me an I’m a girl who likes anime, video games rock bands etc. but I’ve called plenty of women pick me because I know a lot of women who are. It is overused at this point but it still has a definition. It’s just like how people overuse “OCD” to define everything but in reality it actually has a real definition. You trying to redefine it is what’s annoying.

Maybe a girl that seeks validation from males or will modify her entire self to mirror what she thinks one particular guy likes ie gamer girl, rock chick, emo girl, grundge girl, playboy bunny, nerd and so on when she's not that person at all. All of a sudden she's into the same sports, same music, fashion, politics etc.
