Why are women so sensitive to me?

When most guys hurt a girl's feelings, they just get bitched at or broken up with, but when I do it it's like they're completely devastated and they act like I ripped out their heart and stomped on it.
Yet they don't break up with me. They just act like I did something really horrible to them when I didn't.

Example: I was grumpy the other day and kind of ignored my girlfriend a little. I wasn't mean to her and I didn't say anything bad, but she's acting completely heart broken and giving me the cold shoulder. She said I'm killing her and she's going crazy.
She's not the first girl to react like this to something so minuscule either.

So what the problem is?

Yes please don’t do it. We all have at some point. But many people don’t stand up for themselves and set boundaries with who they need to and take their anger out on people who have done nothing.

They obviously care about you if they’re offended by what you said. Apologize for what you said

Now if they legitimately did something to you and you put a boundary and stood up for yourself. That’s one thing.
