though historically women have always had high standards, they would flock to top tier men namely kings, emperors, warlords etc. soldiers, merchants and peasants were lucky to get any women. slaves got nothing which why is humanity has far more female ancestors than male ancestors

it's only within the past few hundred years minus 3rd wave feminism where the common man could meet those standards and get a woman plus marriage and monogamy were encouraged. a farmer, a plumber, a postman, a builder didn't need to be hot or rich to get a woman because the standards back then was for a man to have integrity and masculinity regardless of his looks, money, status

but ever since feminism burst onto the scene to destroy the nuclear family unit, monogamy has dissolved into polygamy and hookup culture. if you don't work as a lawyer, doctor, engineer, pro-athlete, CEO, rapper, movie star etc. but in blue collar jobs, you are at a severe disadvantage. being a gentleman doesn't mean shit anymore. it's how hot and rich you are that matters or in the case of career women, it's how hot you are. personality gets swept under the rug

the funny thing however is that these women can't meet the standards they themselves put on men nor do they meet the men's standards. most women are not 6+ feet tall, nor have 6 pack abs or earn 6 figures but insist on men meeting those standards
