Are you sure that you are indeed 30+ years of age? To me, your question leaves me puzzled as to what you should do.

If someone you had no contact for a while asks through a third party how you are doing, then it is natural that you contact that person directly and communicate with her on a one-to-one basis.

What prevents you from talking to her directly? I am sure that you have a smartphone or that you have other means to get in contact with that person. I don't know what you are expecting us to tell you or how you should proceed.

Simply pick up that phone and call (or text) her and ask her why she is suddenly so interested in how you are doing. That should solve the case.
