Girls, she keeps asking me if I like her friend?

Basically I have a crush on this girl and her friend keeps coming up to me and asking if I "still like this girl". They aren't best friends so no they don't tell each other everything but we all have mutual friends. My crush told her friends that she doesn't like me so I kind of moved on but it's annoying why they still keep asking me if I like her or not.

Why are they doing this and how do I respond in a the best way.
