Am I telling myself something, or is there actually something to it?

I (male, 19) like this one girl (18). We met in church, which is useful information in the context of the rest of what I am about to write.

A fortnight ago, I noticed that she was wearing glasses for the first time (admittedly, zero glasses). The same day when I was texting with her, I pointed out to her that she looked good in them - to which text she didn't reply.
I don't know if she had them on a week ago because I wasn't there at the time, but this week when she came in I saw that she was wearing them, then immediately took them off and didn't put them on again that day.

Is it just a coincidence, she jsut had such a 'whim' to take them off (when she noticed me) and I'm just telling myself something, or is there something to it?
Something in the sense that she took it in a negative way and was too uncomfortable to wear them in my presence?

I know you are not fortune tellers and don't know why she acted this way, but I would like to know your opinion on this.
Please text in with your thoughts - maybe even you may be looking at this from a totally different perspective to mine.

I wouldn't read too much into this. You are likely overthinking it a lot. It could be pure coincidence or maybe she doesn't like them and while you gave a compliment she didn't like that you noticed? I guess that could be a possibility. I still wouldn't read into it this much. It likely was nothing. Not something to lose sleep over.

fair that it's messing with you, stuff like that's always getting to me.

she may be insecure, but if you complimented her, there's no reason why she would be. maybe she didn't want any attention drawn to them?

my advice would be to just ask her and reaffirm that you think she looks nice. can't go wrong there.
