So I’m confused. I met this cashier, and she went out of her way asking my name, always trying to be the one to cash me out, she even gave me a little book sprayed with her perfume with a single quote saying, “Just because it’s taking time, doesn’t meant it isn’t happening.”
Anyways, I was posting questions about her previously trying to find out how to approach her for a relationship. Instead, she added me. She said she was the same age as me, I was watching LOTR while she was coincidentally watching The Hobbit. She even offered to paint me a photo to help decorate my place.
I thought she liked me, and you might’ve thought so too. Unfortunately she ended up posting her boyfriend, sharing how much she loved him. I’ve been through this 6 other times (in a row) prior, and at this point, I’m just wondering why did she like… lead me on, if she’s happily taken? I’m so… confused.

What Girls Said
Sorry you’re going through this now and have experienced it before, rejection or things not working out just sucks. To be fair, I don’t really feel like she led you on given what you’ve shared. It’s easy to misinterpret people’s actions, like with the cashing you out thing, she may be very fond of you as a customer.
I know I had that dynamic with a few people at my local grocery store, I’m in a relatively small town. Even with book, maybe it just smelled like her in general depending on where she had it. I’m not trying to invalidate your experience or what you’re feeling, I just wanna be considerate of her intentions and behavior as well. Anyway there are more fish in the sea. I know you’re probably kind of worn out after your past couple experiences but your person could still be out there. Then if you find her you’ll be glad you didn’t stop looking.
